To support this next phase, we are strengthening our team and seeking a strong Finance Manager who will build and professionalize the finance function, play a key leadership role within the business, and drive financial discipline to support sustainable growth.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will strengthen financial control, support operational decision-making, and further professionalize finance processes in a hands-on role. You will be an active member of the local management team, combining strategic perspective with day-to-day execution, and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to take direct ownership of core finance activities in a small, growing organization. You will work closely with international stakeholders within the Bruynzeel Storage Group and report directly to the Group CFO, with a dotted-line reporting to the local business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate risk management, legal compliance, and insurance matters in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full P&L ownership, including profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow and working capital management.
  • Lead all core finance activities in a hands-on role, appropriate for a small and growing organization of approximately 35 employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting, including tax, audit and statutory compliance. providers.
  • Actively manage cash flow, including timely customer collections, supplier payments.
  • Own the monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes in line with Group requirements.
  • Partner with the local management team to provide financial insights that support operational and commercial decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing and professionalizing financial processes in collaboration with local and European colleagues. For example, streamline month-end closing, improve reporting accuracy, setup cost price calculation in Erp package.
  • Work to create accurate pricing guidelines for use in quoting opportunities that align with Group needs along with general inventory controls.
  • Controlling;
    • support the sales teams to drive profitability and pricing,
    • support the factory team by providing them clear insights in possible efficiencies and costs,
    • keep cost prices up to date,
    • analyse price development of procurement and take the necessary measures.

Profile and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or Business. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience to setup a Finance organization in a Business environment.
  • Business minded financial, open minded, hand on person, get things done.
  • Used to work with Software related packages; ERP systems and used to setup reporting tools, Digital Ap process, etc. in a Sales and Manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability in finance leadership, risk management, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication (internally and also with the European company), decision-making, and team leadership skills.
  • Experience and familiarity with working in a project-based environment.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow together with local Management team.
